Social Media Coordinator

The George Street Co-op is a non-profit natural foods store owned and run by its members. We sell vegetarian foods with the greatest nutritional value possible, and only minimal processing or additives. Everyone is welcome to shop at the Co-op and choose from our excellent selection of fresh organic produce, bulk foods, vitamins & herbs, body care and earth-friendly products, gifts, and more.

The George Street Co-op is seeking in-person or remote volunteers to serve as Outreach Committee Board members with a focus on Social Media efforts.

• Create social media campaigns for the George Street Co-op to drive volunteer and consumer engagement and promote the Co-op’s free community events.
• Should be comfortable working on various social media platforms and have a basic knowledge of social media best practices.
• Attend weekly remote meetings to coordinate efforts across the committee
