As a Marketing Campaign Strategist with us, you’ll work alongside brand and product marketing teams, helping craft and deliver smart, engaging paid media strategies that boost business results. Your expertise will guide everything from research and planning to launching campaigns and reporting on their success across a mix of digital and offline channels. You’ll be the go-to person for turning business goals into campaigns, working closely with creative, brand and product marketing folks to make every campaign shine. Work Arrangements: This is a hybrid role. You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement, and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum requirement.
What you’ll do
- Strategy & planning
- Develop an enterprise-wide integrated paid digital marketing strategy and campaign level strategies for both brand and product marketing initiatives that align with business objectives and client needs.
- Create innovative and creative campaigns to promote our brand, products or services.
- Identify audience segments and map digital touchpoints across the customer journey.
- Recommend optimal channel mix (search, social, display, video, influencer, etc.) and contribute to annual and campaign-level media planning.
- Advise with internal stakeholders on campaign objectives, creative direction and success metrics.
- Campaign execution & optimization
- * Implement end-to-end digital campaigns across channels such as Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube and programmatic platforms.
- Manage day-to-day campaign setup, targeting, execution and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to ensure messaging and design drive engagement and conversion.
- Implement test-and-learn approaches through A/B testing, audience segmentation and creative optimization.
- Track performance and proactively recommend in-flight optimizations to meet KPIs.
- Measurement & reporting
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs), track campaign results, and use data to inform future strategies.
- Leverage analytics platforms (Google Analytics, GA4, Tag Manager, HEAP, etc.) to generate insights.
- Develop post-campaign reports and present insights and recommendations to internal teams and leadership.
- Partner with analytics and marketing teams to ensure tracking accuracy and data integrity.
- Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with brand and performance marketing teams to ensure campaign alignment and consistency in messaging.
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to optimize digital experiences that support conversion goals.
- Work with external agencies, media vendors and influencers to execute campaigns efficiently and on brand.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to identify opportunities.
- Align paid social media campaigns with the overall social media calendar and strategy developed by Manager, Social Media/Corporate Comms, ensuring all paid efforts complement the broader schedule and objectives.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in a mid-level strategist or campaign management role.
- Proven experience developing and executing multi-channel digital campaigns (SEM, paid social, display, video, streaming etc.).
- Strong understanding of both brand-building and performance (product) marketing tactics.
- Hands-on experience with ad platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Spotify Ad Manager, programmatic partners and others.
- Proficiency with analytics and reporting tools (Google Analytics 4, Tag Manager, HEAP, Supermetrics, Power BI etc.).
- Experience managing agency or vendor partners is an asset.

Your base pay will be based on your skills, qualifications, experience and education. In addition to your salary, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive award tied to business performance, plus a wide range of competitive benefits.
