Sales & Ecommerce Administrator - Part Time / Full Time - Flexible Hours

We are an online contract furnishing supplier. This is an opportunity to join a small team running a very successful and rapidly expanding internet business. You will be working directly with the Sales Manager and Managing Director and whilst the initial function will be administrative support and customer service, this should develop quite quickly into project sales, customer management and placing orders with suppliers.

Direct Fabrics is a leading supplier and manufacturer of contract furnishings to a wide range of businesses including schools, care homes, hotels, ships and residences. Products supplied include curtains, blinds, hospital railings, flame retardant bedding and a range of furnishings.

We operate from an office in a Backwell, North Somerset.

Day to Day Admin Tasks Include

Sampling Serice

• Picking and packing samples
• Following up with customers about samples received
• Updating sampling system and CRM

Day to Day

• Checking state of current orders and updating production schedules
• Updating products on eCommerce website
• Handling sales and delivery enquiries from clients
• Data Entry,
• Contacting suppliers and ordering stocks.
• Following up on quotations.
• Creating marketing literature
• Processing orders.
• Sense checking calculations
• Chatting with customers through chat function on the website

Sales Task

• Manage customer relationship management tool
• Quoting projects and submitting through email and online quote platforms
• Following up on quotations
• Outbound prospecting for commercial clients.

Required qualifications

The Hours

Potential for full time or part time dependent depending on the candidate.

Our office hours at 8:15 - 17:00 Monday to Friday

Other information

• Previous office experience essential
• Website-related experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
• Driving licence and own vehicle would be useful but not essential

Potential to be a part time role 3/4/5 days per week. or a full time role person dependent.

We are able to accomodate flexibile hours to work around outside work commitments.

Pay will be pro-rata for hours worked based on a standard 8hr Day 5 day work week
