Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

Better Talent by Laveer & Co.

Company Overview

Our company is rapidly growing their network of nationwide agents. We’re known for fast response times, high standards, and a client-first approach that turns inquiries into confident next steps. Our culture is proactive, metrics-driven, and team-oriented—if you like a clear scoreboard, strong coaching, and work that directly impacts results, you’ll fit in well.

Position Summary

We're looking for a hands‑on CMO who thrives on building, testing, and scaling—not just strategizing from 30,000 feet. This role is for a marketing leader who can personally architect high‑converting funnels, design compelling creative, and manage the tech stack while leading a lean, distributed team. You'll own the entire customer acquisition engine; driving leads across buyer, seller, investor, and agent recruit segments with a relentless focus on performance and ROI. If you're energized by fast‑paced execution, love diving into the data, and want full ownership over marketing outcomes in a growing real estate brand, this is your opportunity to make a direct impact.

Responsibilities

  • Own Revenue-Driving Funnel Strategy Own the full-funnel marketing engine across buyers, sellers, investors, and agent recruits — from first touch through booked appointment and sales handoff. Architect, launch, and continuously optimize high-converting funnels including landing pages, automations, retargeting, and reactivation campaigns.
  • Lead Performance & Conversion Optimization Implement and maintain clean tracking (UTMs, pixels, dashboards) to measure CPL, conversion rates, and ROI across all channels. Operate a weekly “test and learn” cadence: launch experiments, scale winners, and eliminate underperformers quickly.
  • Own Marketing Systems & Technology Build, manage, and optimize the full marketing tech stack (CMS, CRM, automation platforms, integrations). Ensure systems are scalable, integrated, and aligned with sales capacity.
  • Direct Creative & Brand Execution Design or oversee the creation of brand and direct-response assets across digital, presentation, and sales collateral. Maintain and evolve brand standards while prioritizing performance outcomes.
  • Build and Lead the Marketing Production Team Recruit, manage, and develop a blended team of VAs and creative contractors. Establish SOPs, delegate production work, and ensure quality control and on-time delivery.
  • Executive Alignment & Reporting Partner closely with Sales and Client Success to ensure lead quality and lifecycle alignment. Deliver concise, data-backed weekly and monthly performance updates to the CEO.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in performance/growth marketing with direct accountability for lead generation and revenue outcomes (real estate, investing, or other high-ticket services strongly preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to personally build and launch funnels (e.g., ClickFunnels, GoHighLevel, Webflow, Unbounce, or comparable platforms), including pages, automations, and tracking.
  • Strong hands‑on graphic design capability with a portfolio that includes both brand assets and direct-response creative (Canva/Figma plus at least one professional-grade design tool).
  • Proven experience setting up and optimizing CRM and marketing automation workflows (Lofty, HubSpot, GoHighLevel, and Airtable), including segmentation, tagging, triggers, and sequences.
  • Track record of successfully managing VAs and/or offshore teams: writing SOPs, delegating production work, and maintaining quality control across multiple projects.
  • High sense of urgency and ownership; comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, founder-led environment with tight deadlines and evolving priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to read data, build dashboards, and make decisions based on CPL, conversion rates, and campaign ROI.
