Senior Market Development Manager We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Senior Market Development Manager to exceed assigned sales and attach rate goals while promoting our company initiatives. This role involves cultivating and enhancing productive relationships with client field operation leadership, including Regional and Market Managers. The ideal candidate will employ innovative strategies and analytical skills to enhance the performance of various regions through diverse approaches. Collaboration with internal teams to discover growth and process improvement opportunities is essential. Strong in-person and virtual presentation skills are a must. Territory: While this remote-based role allows for flexibility, ideal candidates should be near a major airport in New Mexico, Colorado, Nevada, Arizona, California, or Utah. Up to 75% travel will be expected, focused primarily on the Western Region of the US, with additional travel to other areas as needed. Key Responsibilities: Territory Management Analyze territory sales data to identify key opportunities. Establish strong relationships with clients at all levels, integrating strategies to align with their business plans. Collaborate with Regional and Market Managers to derive actions that propel sales growth. Manage your activity calendar effectively to maximize results and manage expenses. Ensure high-volume Districts receive consistent training and leadership support. Meet or exceed growth metrics set by sales leadership. Collaboration and Influence Work closely with internal stakeholders to enhance client sales performance through identified growth opportunities and best practices. Contribute to the development and execution of clients' sales strategies. Assess client needs and propose actionable strategies to sales leadership. Infuse Protection Plan training within existing client training initiatives. Update training programs as necessary to align with client sales strategies. Client Education Engage with client sales leaders to suggest improvement strategies based on insights. Facilitate client-specific training to boost Protection Plan sales; in-person and virtual presentation skills are required. Coordinate training logistics, including participant identification, materials preparation, and training methodology. Drive support from store leadership and manage T&E budget effectively. Deliver comprehensive overviews during client market/store meetings. Clearly communicate client-specific features and benefits of protection plans. Qualifications: Proven ability to forge quality relationships at various organizational levels. Strong background in formal training and presentation. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Expertise in solving complex problems through innovative strategies. Experience engaging with executive leaders across organizations. Analytical skills to interpret data and drive strategic action planning. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook). Retail experience preferred. Successful track record in achieving financial and sales objectives. Education and Experience: Required: Minimum of 2 years B2B or outside account sales management experience. Required: Minimum of 2 years retail store/district management experience. Travel Requirements: Travel: Yes Percentage of time: 70% Overnight Stays: Required Requirement: Frequent travel with potential overnight stays anticipated.
