The American Nurses Enterprise (ANE) is seeking to hire a Senior Marketing Manager

The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that advance enterprise and business-unit level goals and objectives, elevate brand visibility, and drive measurable outcomes across programs, initiatives, and audiences. This role leads a small team and is accountable for translating vision into implementation, building strong workflows, coaching performance, and ensuring high-quality delivery.

This position requires a marketer who can operate across both B2C and B2B marketing strategies, balancing nurse-facing engagement with partner-facing growth objectives. The role also plays a key leadership function in event marketing, supporting enterprise events and experiences through end-to-end strategy, promotion, attendee growth, and on-site engagement planning.

The ideal candidate for this role operates with a player coach mentality. They are equally comfortable setting strategy and rolling up their sleeves to execute, especially when timelines are tight or priorities shift. They bring strong judgment, calm leadership, and a solutions-oriented approach to guiding a team, while still staying close enough to the work to spot risks early, remove barriers, and uphold quality.

What You Will Do

People Leadership and Team Management

  • Directly manage and develop a team of marketing professionals, providing clear goals, coaching, performance feedback, and growth opportunities.
  • Set team priorities, establish effective workflows, and ensure accountability for deliverables, timelines, and quality.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive culture that supports high performance and continuous improvement.

Strategic Marketing Leadership (B2C and B2B)

  • Drive the development and execution of enterprise marketing strategies and plans spanning consumer and professional audiences (B2C) as well as partner, sponsor, and organizational audiences (B2B).
  • Translate enterprise as well as business level goals and objectives into actionable marketing plans with defined audiences, messaging frameworks, channel strategy, timelines, budgets, and success metrics.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to internal stakeholders, shaping approaches that increase awareness, engagement, and conversion.

Campaign Development and Integrated Execution

  • Oversee end-to-end campaign planning and execution across digital, paid media, email, social, content, partnerships, and experiential channels.
  • Ensure campaigns are insight-driven, audience-centered, and aligned with brand voice, visual identity, and governance standards.
  • Manage multiple marketing workstreams simultaneously, proactively balancing priorities, resources, and deadlines.

Event Marketing Strategy and Delivery

  • Lead event marketing strategy for enterprise events, conferences, summits, and activations, including positioning, promotion, audience development, and attendee conversion.
  • Partner with events, program, and communications teams to create integrated pre-event, on-site, and post-event engagement plans.
  • Develop and manage event marketing calendars, audience segmentation, messaging, and channel strategy to drive registrations, attendance, and impact.
  • Support on-site marketing needs, including signage/messaging alignment, run-of-show touchpoints, sponsor visibility, and real-time content capture.

Brand Stewardship and Storytelling

  • Uphold and advance the enterprise brand by ensuring consistent application of brand standards across all marketing and event deliverables.
  • Collaborate with communications, brand governance, and content teams to translate enterprise narratives into compelling, authentic marketing materials.
  • Support major enterprise initiatives and launches with disciplined, cohesive messaging.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Management

  • Partner closely with internal teams across the enterprise to align marketing plans with organizational priorities and program goals.
  • Build strong relationships with senior leaders and subject matter experts, managing expectations and driving clarity and alignment.
  • Manage external vendors or agencies as needed, including briefing, timelines, reviews, and performance oversight.

Measurement, Reporting, and Optimization

  • Define KPIs and measurement plans for B2B, B2C, and event marketing efforts, and monitor performance against goals.
  • Use insights to optimize campaigns, improve conversion, strengthen segmentation, and inform future strategy.
  • Communicate performance and learnings to stakeholders with clear, actionable reporting tied to enterprise impact.

What you bring to the American Nurses Enterprise

Education

  • At minimum bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.

Related Work Experience

  • 7 or more years of progressive marketing experience, including integrated marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • 3 or more years of direct people management experience, including performance coaching and team development.

Skills

  • Demonstrated experience leading both B2C and B2B marketing strategies, including segmentation and channel planning for distinct audiences.
  • Proven event marketing experience, including driving registrations/attendance and coordinating marketing plans across the event lifecycle.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong judgment and attention to detail.
  • Performance reporting, dashboards, and campaign optimization.

Preferred

  • Experience managing agencies, vendors, and cross-functional project teams.
  • Familiarity with brand governance and content strategy.
