Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist (Medical Practice) — West Hollywood, CA

About the Role

We’re a busy medical practice in West Hollywood looking for an experienced social media and content person with medical/healthcare experience who can own our Instagram + TikTok presence—weekly content, filming, posting, engagement, and light editing.

Bonus (big plus): If you can also manage paid social ads, help with SEO, and support website updates/design, we’d love to have someone who can handle more of the full digital picture.

Core Responsibilities (Social Media)

Manage Instagram + TikTok from idea → filming → editing → posting → engagement.

Build and maintain a weekly content calendar (Reels/TikToks, posts, Stories).

Film content in-office (doctor/staff clips, educational videos, behind-the-scenes).

Do light video editing (captions, trimming, text overlays, hooks, basic transitions).

Write strong captions with clear CTAs while staying professional and compliant.

Monitor comments/DMs and keep engagement active and on-brand.

Track performance (reach, saves, shares, DMs, bookings) and optimize content based on results.

Keep content organized (drive folders, drafts, templates, brand guidelines).

Bonus Responsibilities (If You Have These Skills)

Paid Social Ads

Manage/optimize Instagram + Facebook ads (Meta Ads Manager).

Build campaigns for awareness, lead gen, and appointment conversions.

A/B test creatives, audiences, and copy; manage budgets and reporting.

SEO + Website (Bonus)

Support local SEO (Google Business Profile, on-page optimization, basic technical checks).

Assist with content SEO for service pages and blogs.

Make website updates and design improvements (WordPress/Webflow/Squarespace—whatever we’re on).

Track performance via Google Analytics/Search Console and provide simple monthly insights.

Light Personal Assistant / Support (Secondary)

Help with light admin tasks: scheduling support, coordinating vendors, occasional practice-related errands.

Assist with planning content days so filming is efficient and doesn’t disrupt the office.

Requirements

2+ years social media experience, with medical/healthcare experience (required).

Strong knowledge of TikTok + Instagram (Reels, Stories, trend adaptation).

Comfortable filming and directing short shoots in a clinical setting.

Experience with editing tools like CapCut/InShot/Premiere/Final Cut/Canva.

Professional, discreet, reliable, and HIPAA-aware mindset.

Nice to Have

Proven experience running Meta paid ads for local service businesses (medical/aesthetic preferred).

SEO experience (especially local SEO).

Website design/update skills (WordPress/Webflow/Squarespace).

Ability to work quickly and independently with good taste and clean visuals.
