Our client, a renowned media organization, is seeking a highly creative and strategic Senior Content Strategist to lead their content initiatives. This role operates within a hybrid work structure, offering a blend of remote flexibility and in-office collaboration. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive content strategies that align with editorial goals, engage target audiences, and enhance brand presence across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of content marketing, audience segmentation, SEO, and multi-channel distribution, with a proven ability to craft compelling narratives and drive engagement. Responsibilities: Develop and implement innovative content strategies aligned with the organization's editorial vision and business objectives. Conduct audience research and analysis to identify target demographics, content preferences, and engagement opportunities. Create and manage content calendars, ensuring a consistent flow of high-quality, relevant content across various channels (website, social media, newsletters, etc.). Oversee the creation of diverse content formats, including articles, blog posts, videos, infographics, and social media updates, ensuring brand voice and quality standards. Collaborate with editorial, marketing, and design teams to conceptualize and produce engaging content. Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve discoverability and organic reach. Analyze content performance using analytics tools, measuring key metrics such as reach, engagement, conversions, and ROI. Identify opportunities to repurpose existing content and leverage new content formats and platforms. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging content marketing techniques, and competitor activities. Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to junior content creators and team members. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in content strategy, content marketing, or editorial management within the media industry. Proven success in developing and executing data-driven content strategies that achieve measurable results. Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices for content optimization. Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail. Experience with content management systems (CMS) and various digital publishing platforms. Proficiency in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to measure content performance. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with social media marketing and community engagement strategies. Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment.
