Growth Marketing Manager
Walls by Design
Walls by Design Painting & Decorating is a high-end residential painting company in Denver. We're looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to own our marketing function, drive lead generation, and improve conversion — while managing a small team of capable marketing VAs.
This is a flexible, Part-Time hrs/wk), mostly work-from-home role, but you must be Denver-local, have reliable transportation, and be willing to spend 5–10 hours per week in the field visiting job sites to capture photo and video content. Mileage is reimbursed.
This is not a social media posting role. This is a leadership position focused on results, accountability, and moving the needle.
The Mission
The primary objective of this role is simple and non-negotiable:
Increase marketing-driven leads and improve conversion.
We are currently averaging approximately 9 marketing leads per week with a 38% close rate. The goal is to move toward 30 marketing leads per week and a 45% close rate.
Realtor and networking leads are tracked separately and do not count toward your core lead targets. What You'll Own (Lead Generation Comes First)
Lead generation and pipeline performance are the top priority for this role. Everything else supports that goal.
You will also handle basic collateral needs (signs, flyers, event posters), but those will never take priority over lead-generating activities.
We are looking for someone that can be self-motivated, organized, and driven. We do not need someone to manage daily. The ideal candidate will be mainly trained on who we are and what we do, will work with the owner on strategy and timelines, give helpful input and suggestions, and produce great results. At the end of the day, the results matter the most.
What You'll Do
Growth & Lead Generation
- Own weekly marketing performance metrics: leads → booked estimates → completed estimates → closed jobs
- Oversee Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad strategy and performance (biggest growth lever)
- Oversee Google Ads performance and optimization
- Coordinate improvements to offers, landing pages, forms, and follow-up flow
- Identify what's working, what's not, and what needs to change — weekly
Marketing Systems & GoHighLevel
- Own the marketing side of GoHighLevel: pipelines, lead routing, automations, reporting
- Ensure speed-to-lead and follow-up systems are working reliably
- Maintain clean source tracking and attribution across all marketing channels
Creative & Jobsite Content
- Visit job sites weekly (5–10 hrs/week) to capture photo and video content
- Direct creative priorities for ads and content (what to test, what to stop, what to double down on)
- Build a consistent cadence of usable assets that actually perform
Team Leadership
- Manage three part-time marketing VAs
- Assign work, set priorities, and hold quality standards
- Run a simple weekly execution cadence so work gets done without chaos
Collateral & Canva (Simple and Clean)
- Create simple marketing collateral in Canva as needed (flyers, yard signs, event posters, basic graphics)
- Month 1 deliverable: streamline our brand inside Canva (logos, colors, fonts) and create reusable templates so collateral is fast and consistent
Your First 30 Days (What Success Looks Like)
The first 30 days matter — and lead volume must start moving.
By the end of your first month, we expect
- A measurable increase in marketing-driven leads from baseline
- Meta ads live with active creative testing
- Google Ads actively monitored and adjusted
- A clean weekly KPI dashboard showing leads → booked estimates → closes
- Speed-to-lead and follow-up systems working reliably inside GoHighLevel
- Brand streamlined inside Canva with reusable templates
- Consistent jobsite photo/video capture happening weekly
February already brings seasonal lift — this role exists to amplify that lift, not just observe it.
