Marketing Operations Manager

Pella Windows & Doors of DFW

Position Overview

The Marketing Operations Manager will primarily support a $40MM direct-to-consumer Pella branch that serves the entirety of northern Texas. We are building a marketing team that can compete and win against the best direct-to-consumer marketers in the nation with the full backing of a 100-year-old American manufacturing brand.

This will be a challenging job requiring strong internal motivation to innovate and drive projects forward, but the growth potential is significant. The Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) branch is effectively a test market where we innovate and refine new approaches to reach Pella's customers. There is ample opportunity to grow both within the branch and within the Pella system as a whole. The successful candidate will be values-driven and ready to hit the ground running with proven experience building and optimizing marketing technology infrastructure. We set a high bar and are looking for someone excited to clear it.

As Pella shifts toward consumer demand generation, the technical systems that capture, route, and nurture leads have become mission-critical. The Marketing Operations Manager will own the marketing technology stack and serve as the technical backbone of our marketing organization—ensuring seamless data flow between platforms, optimizing lead processing systems, and enabling the marketing and sales teams to operate at peak efficiency. This role sits at the intersection of marketing strategy and technical execution, requiring someone equally comfortable discussing campaign objectives and debugging API integrations.

Position Location

The position is located at Pella of DFW's headquarters in Grapevine, Texas. The candidate should be able to travel to conferences and meetings 1-2 times per quarter. Agencies and International candidates are NOT eligible.

Responsibilities

  • Own and administer the marketing technology stack including CRM, marketing automation platforms, call center systems, and analytics tools—ensuring all systems are properly integrated and functioning optimally.
  • Build and maintain integrations between marketing and sales systems using Zapier, native API connections, and middleware platforms to ensure seamless lead flow and data integrity across the organization.
  • Manage lead routing and distribution rules to optimize speed-to-lead and ensure proper attribution across channels and campaigns.
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative lead performance analyses to identify friction points, training opportunities, and make proactive recommendations for improving lead handling and conversion.
  • Serve as the technical administrator for the company website, implementing tracking pixels, managing tag deployment, troubleshooting technical issues, and coordinating with developers on larger initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain marketing dashboards and reporting infrastructure, providing the leadership team with accurate performance analytics and actionable insights on a roughly $6MM marketing budget.
  • Optimize conversion rates through A/B testing infrastructure, landing page optimization, and funnel analysis.
  • Oversee call center technology integrations including CRM/dialer systems, call queues, lead recycling workflows, and disposition tracking.
  • Manage relationships with marketing technology vendors and serve as the primary technical point of contact for external agencies requiring system access or integration support.
  • Maintain data hygiene across all marketing systems including duplicate management, list standardization, and compliance with data privacy requirements.
  • Document all marketing technology processes, integrations, and workflows to ensure operational continuity and enable cross-training.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of progressive responsibility in marketing operations, revenue operations, or a related technical marketing role. The candidate should demonstrate:

  • Strong proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) including workflow automation, custom field configuration, and reporting.
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining integrations using Zapier and direct API connections.
  • Working knowledge of front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and Wordpress sufficient to implement tracking codes, troubleshoot landing pages, and make website updates.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms and email systems.
  • Familiarity with call center technology, lead routing systems, and sales enablement tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in Google Analytics, Looker Studio, or similar reporting tools.
  • Excellent documentation habits and the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in a high-volume B2C lead generation environment preferred. Agency or consulting experience is a plus.
