HELPipedia is a nonprofit 501(c)3 with a mission to provide youth with the personal and professional development they need to be successful at school, at work, and in life. We offer mentorship and structured programs to help you collect your volunteer hours.

We are initiating and sustaining a Youth, Family & Community Education Movement to provide our youth with endless opportunities that prepare them for greater success at work and in life. In so doing, each member achieves their personal and business goals. And, as a co-op, we all benefit from the efforts of others. We are a sharing and caring community with different skill sets that span health, wellness, career and life readiness.

Actively looking for Unpaid Volunteers to support HELPipedia community partners, board members, and team members to develop a Special Needs Directory. HELPipedia members are caring professionals, educators, mentors, coaches, parents, advisors, advocates, social workers, counselors, and volunteers united around the same purpose to help others.

Responsibilities - RESEARCH INTERN

Scour the web like a digital detective to find nonprofits supporting special needs families and special needs educational programs. Organize your findings into an easy-to-use format (because the world is chaotic enough already). Validate findings from our sources who will be listed on our special needs directory. (eg/ if a provider accepts Medicare) by contacting the provider. Collaborate with our co-founders and community partners to refine your discoveries. Perform Quality Assurance on the Special Needs Directory Platform to ensure the results are generated correctly and the info from providers are accurate.

Responsibilities - MARKETING INTERN

Create reels, graphics, and posts for our LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube social media. Collaborate with HELPipedia mentors and other students to create compelling content.
