It’s what we believe in, and we have built a great reputation for value and fantastic customer service. 2026 is going to be an exciting time at Savoy Timber and we are looking for a talented, dedicated and experienced person to join the online team to grow our national online operations. Website operations are run from our Wigan site, plus national and local marketing initiatives, order processing and national delivery services. This is an opportunity to join our successful team, to increase revenue and profitability.

Role Purpose

We are looking, for a Dynamic forward-thinking individual that has a wealth of online experience. A sale orientated individual that thrives in a fast-paced environment with experience in social media, On line and website operations. The individual will be an analytical thinker that can use technology and marketing experience to assist increasing sales. We operate on a Magento 2 and would like the applicant to have experience.

The position would require an individual to be able to communicate with customers over the phone, email and through our CRM system. Knowledge of DIY is a great advantage, as you will need to understand what a product is used for, to be able to describe and market products on our website and other sales channels. It would be a great advantage to have experience of social media channels and know how to use these to increase revenue into our business. The successful individual will have great understanding, of the importance of attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Join our customer service team and service our customer needs assisting with customer service emails and telephone enquiries

Sell to customers over the phone.

Understand the opportunities presented to the categories to grow and develop

Assist with processing customer orders and liaising with our courier network partners and internal transport department

Support category sales plans and use customer insight in highlighting areas of opportunity

Continuously identify sales, revenue and efficiency opportunities and support development of business cases

Required Skills & Experience

Well organised with strong planning skills and professional customer service skills.

·Strong order processing skills, analytical with good attention to detail

Experience of the DIY market, products and order fulfilment

Ability to assist with substantial Ebay and Amazon operations

Understanding of the Digital customer and their needs

Assisting and managing online campaigns through Social Media Channels

Highly competitive salary for the successful candidate

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Education

  • A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

Experience

  • Digital marketing: 3 years (required)
  • Marketing: 1 year (preferred)
