Amazon e-Commerce Intern

POSITION SUMMARY

This role involves analyzing sales data to generate insights that enhance sales performance and profitability. The position supports the Amazon sales team by managing order processing and customer inquiries, while collaborating with marketing and product teams to drive customer acquisition and retention strategies. Additionally, the role oversees product content creation and optimization across eCommerce platforms to boost search visibility and conversion rates.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data, including revenue, promotional performance, and inventory availability
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize sales, profitability, and improve the overall consumer path to purchase
• Work within Amazon Vendor Central to update product content, address opportunities and fix errors
• Work with Amazon Canada contacts to address opportunities and fix errors
• Assist the sales team with order processing, customer inquiries, and administration for seamless operation
• Collaborate with sales, marketing agencies, and product management to develop strategies for customer acquisition, retention, and upselling opportunities
• Product Content Management and Optimization
• Create and maintain engaging product descriptions, images, videos, and multimedia assets on eCommerce platforms
• Ensure accuracy and optimization of product content for improved search visibility and conversion rates

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• Relevant education in business, marketing, sales, or related fields (degree not explicitly specified)
• Familiarity with eCommerce platforms and sales data analytics
• Amazon experience is an asset
• Strong sales analytics skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively
• Experience in product content creation and optimization for eCommerce channels
• Detail-oriented and results-driven mindset
• Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
