Job Description
Torque Motorsports is looking for a Group Marketing Manager. The Group Marketing Manager is the strategic engine behind our outreach, responsible for translating business goals into actionable campaigns and driving brand growth. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing, this role oversees daily marketing operations across all locations. We are looking for a leader who thinks "differently"—someone who can break the mold with creative content that separates Torque from the competition. If you can think "fun" and "innovative" to match the energy of our products, you will help Torque stand out instead of just fitting in.
What You’ll Do
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive 12-month marketing plan aligned with annual business goals.
- Creative Content: Lead the charge in creating fresh, out-of-the-box content and digital storytelling that showcases the "fun" side of the motorsports industry.
- Team Leadership: Oversee and mentor marketing staff members responsible for localized functions at every branch.
- Digital Management: Manage and update website content, including product listings, landing pages, and promotional campaigns.
- CRM & Automation: Develop email marketing campaigns and automated workflows within the CRM to optimize customer engagement.
- Market Analysis: Perform frequent competitive analysis and monitor industry trends to ensure Torque remains innovative.
- Financial Oversight: Manage the departmental budget, ensuring a high ROI on all advertising spend.
- Reporting: Provide monthly reports on KPI progress and campaign performance to the Director of Sales & Marketing.
What You Need
- Education: Post-Secondary Education in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in a marketing leadership role, managing teams and executing long-term strategic plans.
- Flexibility: Occasional requirement to work evenings and weekends to accommodate special events; occasional travel within New Brunswick is required.
Additional Strengths
- Expertise in social media strategy and a knack for creating content that disrupts the status quo.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of website content management systems (CMS) and CRM software.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage graphic design projects and collaborate with external agency partners.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is considered a strong asset.
Perks of the Job
- Comprehensive benefits plan through Blue Cross
- RRSP contributions with employer matching
- Discounts on products and services
- Paid sick days
- Modern facilities
