Social Media/Community Manager (Paid and Organic)

Financial credit union client is seeking a Social Media/Community Manager who is proficient in reputation management as well as paid and organic social to join their team. This is a fully remote role requiring 10-15 hours/week of work. The work is likely to scale up in hours based upon candidate and workload.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, data-driven social media manager who can lead paid and organic campaigns while managing our online reputation with speed and professionalism. They're proactive, strategic, and comfortable operating in a regulated financial environment.

Must Have

  • 4+ years of social media strategy and execution experience
  • Experience with paid media budgets, ROAS optimization, social listening tools, content calendar development, planning and more
  • Understanding of compliance and review workflows
  • Experience in financial services or credit unions
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and collaborating with creative partners
  • Own computer and programs

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute paid and organic social strategies across Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and LinkedIn
  • Optimize campaigns using performance data, KPIs, and audience insights
  • Manage paid media budgets and optimize for ROAS
  • Analyze KPIs and campaign performance for ongoing optimization
  • Deliver monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations
  • Monitor and respond to Google, Facebook, and Yelp reviews, plus social comments and DMs
  • Manage reputation inquiries with timely, professional responses
  • Track sentiment and escalate issues when needed
  • Partner with creative teams on asset development
