E-Commerce Customer Service & Product Lister

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our family run business as an E-commerce Customer Service & Product Lister. This hybrid role combines e-commerce customer service and product listing expertise in marketing, ensuring all our products are listed on our sales channels while supporting customers across our online sales channels. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical skills, creativity, and an understanding of ecommerce supporting customers and driving traffic and sales through engaging and optimised product listings.
Key Responsibilities
E-commerce Product Listing
- Create, update, and maintain product listings across our Shopify, eBay and Amazon e-commerce stores.
- Capture and upload high-quality product images and videos, ensuring they meet platform specifications.
- Organise and categorise products for ease of navigation and improved user experience.
Customer Service
- Ensuring order processing is managed effectively via a centralised order management platform (Linnworks).
- Answering customer queries or questions across our Shopify, eBay and Amazon e-commerce stores.
- Handling the returns process ensuring customers are supported throughout the order lifecycle.
Marketing
- Collaborate with the sales manager to create product campaigns and promotions.
- Create email marketing content, banners, and ad copy to promote featured products.
- Create social media content on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X and TikTok.
- Conduct SEO audits of our Shopify store and implement any improvements to Google search page ranking.
- Research market trends, competitor strategies, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product positioning and improvement.
Qualifications
Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in e-commerce product listing and marketing, or a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with platforms like Shopify, Amazon, and eBay.
- Familiarity with digital marketing practices, including email marketing, PPC and SEO.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets for data management.
- Basic knowledge of SEO and keyword research tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Google Keyword Planner).
- Experience with email marketing tools (e.g., MailChimp)
- Experience with Google Analytics and AdWords.
- Basic image editing skills using Canva, Photoshop, or similar tools.
Soft Skills
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinker with a problem-solving attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS for formatting listings and marketing content.
- Experience with email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp).
- Familiarity with paid advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads).
- Background in e-commerce or retail marketing strategy.
This job is initially a 12 month fixed-term contract. However, for the successful candidate there may be opportunities for contract extension or permanent position.

Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
