ASAE is seeking a creative and detail oriented Social Media Coordinator to manage and grow our social media presence across platforms. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced, collaborative environment and has a strong grasp of digital trends, analytics, and audience engagement. You’ll play a key role in shaping how ASAE connects with members, partners, and the broader association community.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Following the social media strategy developed by the VP of Marketing and Manager of Marketing Communications, candidate will design, write, schedule, and publish engaging content across ASAE’s social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube)
  • Collaborate with internal teams to promote events, publications, advocacy efforts, member stories, and the value of associations.
  • Monitor social media conversations and respond to comments, questions, and mentions in a timely and brand consistent manner.
  • Track performance metrics and generate monthly reports with insights and recommendations.
  • Stay current on social media trends and platform updates to inform content.
  • Assist with live coverage of ASAE events and conferences

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience managing social media for a brand, nonprofit, or association.
  • Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hubspot, Sprout Social, Hootsuite).
  • Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills.
  • Familiarity with basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express).
  • Experience with analytics platforms (Meta Insights, LinkedIn Analytics, Google Analytics).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
  • Experience in the association or nonprofit sector a plus.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment & Travel

This position operates in a professional work environment. Telework is offered. No travel is required for this position.
