Finance Manager, Shopping Finance

You'll contribute to analyses that inform plans presented to senior leadership while maintaining the highest bar for data fidelity. Your financial expertise will directly influence how voice commerce evolves to better serve customers.

This highly visible role partners with Shopping teams to optimize how customers discover and purchase through voice technology. You'll be a key financial partner supporting one of Amazon's most innovative customer experiences, blending technology with retail fundamentals

This position demands exceptional analytical skills to evaluate tradeoffs between business requirements and technical possibilities while supporting voice commerce growth toward transformative opportunities.

Key job responsibilities

Strategic Partnership & Analysis: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and PM partners to evaluate financial trade-offs, calculate ROI for new product launches, identify breakthrough opportunities in voice shopping experiences, and establish the right metrics for emerging customer experiences.

Financial Modeling & Innovation Support: Lead economic modeling initiatives for emerging voice commerce features by working with central Amazon teams on EV&O/DSI, cDev, and Missions models while collecting and analyzing quantitative data to build financial models that drive business decisions and support DSI reporting improvements.

Performance Analytics & Reporting: Transform complex voice shopping data into actionable insights for senior leadership by creating and maintaining reports for key financial and operational metrics, analyzing monthly business performance against plans, investigating underlying drivers, and performing month-end close activities.

Planning & Forecasting Excellence: Lead forecasting analysis for operating expenses, headcount, and strategic investments while partnering with business teams on resource allocation, planning cycles, and enabling success in the annual Goals process.

Process Leadership & Improvement: Drive automation of critical financial processes and establish KPIs frameworks for emerging territories by leading continuous improvement initiatives, standardizing processes across the organization, and developing measurement frameworks for previously unmeasured business areas.
