Social Media Manager, Live Sports

- Creative Marketing and/or Editorial background (either in Entertainment, Sport or lifestyle brands).
- Previous experience reviewing metrics and data to inform decision making.

Our ambition is to connect authentically with customers through topical & locally-nuanced stories that entertain, delight or inspire. This involves planning, creating, iterating and distributing bespoke Editorial Content in various formats through Social Media platforms. We strive to make our feeds as engaging as the Sports fans love to watch.

The Prime Video EU Social team are looking for a highly motivated, innovative and performance-oriented Social Media Manager, Sport to help grow our business. The role will focus around our Live Sports offering through various social media platforms.
Who we’re looking for : a sports fanatic and social guru, with significant experience developing best-in-class content for major brands (agency or client side). You have a deep understanding of what content resonates across the social landscape - and few things make you happier than a well-crafted caption. You obsessively keep up with the latest digital trends. You’ve probably dabbled with AR or introduced friends and family to the world of TikTok challenges. You stay curious, humble, and open-minded. You thrive in entrepreneurial cultures where you have tons of ownership, responsibility, and accountability.
Key job responsibilities
- Own & execute best-in-class social campaigns for our Europe Live Sport rights.
- Act as the conduit between multiple teams; ensuring strong working relationships across our Live Sports.
- Manage a roster of agencies to evaluate and execute your ideas.
- Collaborate with sports talent and influencers.
- Take calculated risks (and try breaking the internet).
- Report on learnings to continuously refine your approach.
- Strive for best-in-class operations by fixing processes and ways of working for the long term.
- Manage blocking issues, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and meet committed delivery timelines.
- Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams.
- Experience in social media, sport and entertainment.
- Experience working within global cross-functional teams.
- Additional European Languages (Italian, German or French)
