It is not enough for an organization to just have a website. It must be easily found by the right audiences. This is where our SEO Team steps in. We are looking for an experienced search marketing strategist that knows how search engines work and how to deliver traffic to our client's websites.

You are up-to-date with recent search engine changes and passionate about self-education and keeping up-to-date with the latest industry blogs and trends. Focusing on sharing insights with the team and collaborating to ensure our clients are protected against algorithm changes and practicing the latest SEO techniques.

You are excited about the trial and error process and eager to use your learnings to test new practices, turning successful experiments into replicable processes and tasks we can perform for our clients. You are someone with a passion for all aspects of SEO, defining the strategy for aggressive SEO programs and are driven to achieve the success of every program. Following the continuous evolution of search engine algorithms, you love the challenge of digging into the ‘why’ when rankings have dropped, or something isn’t working.

  • *Responsibilities**:
  • Thorough understanding of SEO fundamentals, Google’s quality updates, how to analyze and find problems with a website, SEO program performance, etc.
  • A strong understanding of user experience principals and how to leverage them to communicate clearly with search engines
  • SEO strategy development and performance monitoring
  • Experience using the common SEO tools to analyze websites and SEO performance metrics
  • Experience doing SEO competitive audits and analysis
  • Communicate SEO strategy and program performance to both internal and external audiences
  • Work with the Product and Sales Teams to define our SEO offering and provide pricing and scope for new opportunities
  • Researching new SEO tactics & turning findings into repeatable processes/tasks that drive results
  • Work with the Sales and Product Teams to define our SEO offering and provide pricing and scope for new projects
  • Team management and training
  • Oversee the SEO team focusing on both on-site and off-site activities including:
  • Citation management
  • Targeted keyword research and website blueprint development
  • Technical website audits and updates
  • Outreach
  • Content-based link building
  • Creating SEO optimized content for websites
  • Other SEO deliverables as they are developed and defined
  • *Job Qualifications**
  • Post-secondary degree or significant equivalent experience
  • At least 5+ years of experience working in the SEO industry
  • Very strong written and verbal skills
  • Experience managing a team remotely
