Overview

The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for maintaining data integrity and ensuring the accuracy of information within the company's supply chain management database. This includes conducting data cleansing and ensuring that all attributes of invoice costs are accurately captured for final upload into the core database. The Supply Chain Analyst will also play a key role in standardizing freight costs across the company, establishing the foundation for analytics, and ultimately supporting logistics data and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain data integrity and accuracy within the supply chain invoice attribute database.
  • Conduct data cleansing to ensure all information is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Ensure that all attributes of invoice costs are accurately captured for final upload into the core database.
  • Collaborate with various teams to gather and analyze data to identify areas of improvement in the carrier invoicing practices.
  • Develop and implement procedures and processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain management system.
  • Assist with the development of supply chain initiatives.
  • Maintain freight cost conditions in SAP based on detailed analytics.
  • Work with OCR Technologies that will improve throughput of scanned and extracted data from invoices.
  • Maintain lookup reference tables for the various ever-changing dataset.
  • Develop, design, and manage efficient processes, tabular reports, list reports, score cards, and dynamic models, that effectively monitor various KPIs and assist the Logistics department.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in supply chain management or a related field.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience developing, improving, and streamlining processes and reporting.
  • Thorough analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Timeliness, accuracy, and professionalism.

Physical Demands

  • Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or a mobile device.
  • Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping.
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs.
