Max: USD $39.86/hr
Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Digital Imaging Technician, where you will be responsible for performing diagnostic medical radiographic procedures on patients of all ages. You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day functions of the radiology department and embody the Memorial Health System Performance Excellence Standards of Safety, Courtesy, Quality, and Efficiency that align with our mission and values.
Schedule
Full Time, Day Shift
7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Rotating Weekends
Koke Mill Surgery and Urgent Care coverage as needed.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registry
- Current ARRT registration and IEMA license required.
- Must maintain state required Continuing Medical Education (CME).
- Valid BLS CPR certification is required.
Experience
- Prior computer experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform digital radiographic processes adhering to professional guidelines and standards.
- Schedule and coordinate exams, effectively explain procedures to patients, and document necessary patient history and symptomology. Critique the technical quality of digital images.
- Implement and oversee quality control processes, making necessary adjustments or notifying supervisors for equipment servicing as needed. Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements regarding quality control testing.
- Ensure x-ray and other imaging equipment is functioning efficiently. Perform regular maintenance and report malfunctions promptly.
