Marketing Coordinator & Account Manager

Role Summary
The Marketing Coordinator & Account Manager role sits at the heart of Fresh Focus Media’s marketing, creative, and operational engine. This is a highly collaborative, fast-paced position designed for someone who thrives in an agency environment where strategy, creativity, and execution intersect daily.
You will oversee customer projects from strategy through execution, working alongside a team of like-minded but differently talented professionals including designers, developers, marketers, and strategists. This role blends project management, creative direction, and customer relationship leadership, ensuring marketing initiatives are delivered with clarity, quality, and purpose.
You will lead marketing initiatives across branding, websites, social media, and integrated marketing campaigns, managing timelines, deliverables, and communication while ensuring all work aligns with customer goals and business objectives. This role requires someone who can confidently zoom out to see the big picture while managing the operational details that bring ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Customer Delivery
- Lead end-to-end management of marketing projects including branding initiatives, website design, social media, and advertising campaigns
- Scope projects, build timelines, assign tasks, track deliverables, and manage shifting priorities across multiple customers
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, translating objectives into clear creative and marketing deliverables
- Monitor project progress, deadlines, and budgets to ensure smooth, on-time, and high-quality delivery
- Maintain organized workflows, documentation, and internal communication to support transparency and accountability
Creative Leadership & Design Direction
- Help set and uphold creative direction across customer accounts in collaboration with internal creative leadership
- Collaborate on branding initiatives including logo systems, brand guidelines, and visual identity development
- Oversee website projects including full websites, landing pages, and digital assets with an understanding of UX/UI best practices
- Review and provide feedback on creative work to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with brand and marketing strategies
- Stay current with design trends, tools, and digital best practices to continuously elevate output and efficiency
Social Media & Marketing Strategy
- Lead the creation and management of customer social media initiatives from concept through execution
- Develop social media strategies aligned with customer goals, audience insights, and brand voice
- Collaborate with designers and content creators on graphics, captions, campaigns, and storytelling
- Plan, schedule, and manage social media content calendars across platforms
- Review performance insights and collaborate on strategy refinements where applicable
- Lead and support additional marketing initiatives including:
- Email marketing and e-newsletters
- Print marketing such as brochures, flyers, advertisements, and signage
- Integrated marketing materials supporting campaigns and promotions
Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Manage, mentor, and support junior designers, developers, and marketing team members
- Assign work clearly, balance workloads, and support team members in meeting deadlines
- Conduct quality assurance reviews and provide constructive feedback to support professional growth
- Contribute to refining internal creative processes, workflows, templates, and standards
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and supportive team culture
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with developers, graphic designers, copywriters, marketers, and strategists to ensure cohesive execution
- Support customer presentations, strategy sessions, and creative reviews
- Ensure smooth handoffs between creative, marketing, and development teams
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in a collaborative leadership, project management, or senior marketing role (agency experience preferred)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating branding, website design, social media, and marketing creative projects
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Working proficiency in Canva and Figma, including managing collaborative files and design systems
- Experience managing multiple customer projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, content strategy, and scheduling tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting to and meeting with customers
- Proven experience leading, mentoring, and reviewing the work of junior team members
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Agile or similar project management methodologies
- Familiarity with common marketing platforms and basic marketing analytics
- Understanding of print production processes and file preparation
- Basic knowledge of WordPress websites is considered an asset
