The Opportunity

Reporting to the Director, Strategy & Innovation, this role leads a high-performing Marketing & Communications team responsible for shaping and delivering integrated marketing strategies across both digital and traditional channels. You’ll guide marketing efforts across the Bank’s product lines and distribution channels, bringing clarity, coordination, and momentum to complex initiatives.

This is a highly visible role where you’ll connect strategy to execution—building cohesive, wide-reaching marketing plans that directly support Bridgewater Bank’s strategic goals and continued growth.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Shape and deliver integrated marketing strategies across digital and traditional channels:
  • Oversee the planning, budgeting, and execution of marketing campaigns that support brand, product, and channel goals with an emphasis on our B2B audiences
  • Guide the development of impactful marketing initiatives that support growth of our deal funnel, including lead generation, engagement, and conversion programs
  • Support and grow internal loyalty program
  • Manage external partners and agencies to support creative, digital, and campaign execution
  • Complete planning/budgeting in support of our enterprise strategic plan for all channels and product lines leveraging both traditional and digital tactics (e.g. online media, SEM/SEO, content marketing, email marketing and social marketing)
  • Lead the development and execution of convention and physical events in support of building the bank's brand, promoting its products, and developing key relationships.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Marketing & Communications team:
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and results-driven culture by setting clear expectations, providing ongoing feedback, and supporting career growth through coaching, recognition, and development planning
  • Champion best practices and continuous improvement across marketing and communications disciplines:
  • Ensure all external marketing materials align with brand, visual, and editorial standards
  • Define and track key performance metrics, sharing insights with stakeholders to inform decision-making and optimize results
  • Lead communications strategy:
  • Content across channels such as email, town halls, social media, digital signage, and our website
  • Oversee internal communications that support company initiatives, milestones, and values—ensuring consistency with brand standards
  • Manage press releases and media requests
  • Support business continuity communication planning

What You Bring To The Table

  • Post-secondary education in Business or Marketing/Communications
  • Minimum 5 years’ progressive experience in marketing and communications
  • Minimum 5 years’ leadership experience
  • Experience in the financial services, B2B, or residential mortgage industry is preferred
  • Digital marketing knowledge and/or programmatic advertising experience is preferred
