E-Commerce & Web Design Coordinator (Korean-English Bilingual)

Job Title: Bilingual E-commerce Web Designer & Operations Manager

Job Type: Full-time (35 hours/week)

Wage: $25.00 per hour

Work Location: North Vancouver, BC (Hybrid: 3 days in-person at the home office, 2 days remote/WFH)

ABOUT THE ROLE

Yunseuldaon is a newly launching K-lifestyle general store based in North Vancouver. We offer a curated selection of K-beauty skincare, beverages, lifestyle products, traditional souvenirs to Canadian consumers.

We are looking for a highly capable, self-driven coordinator who can independently build and manage our Shopify store end-to-end, handle supplier communications in Korean, and support all aspects of our e-commerce operations — from website design to customs documentation.

This is an exciting opportunity to join us at the ground level — playing a key role in building our e-commerce presence from scratch. This position starts as a 4–6 month contract with a strong possibility of transitioning to a permanent role based on performance.

This is a hybrid role: 3 days per week at the employer's residence in North Vancouver, and 2 days per week working remotely from your own home.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Website Design & E-Commerce Setup

• Design and build the full Shopify storefront from scratch, including theme customization, layout, branding, and UX
• Set up and configure all store functions: product listings, collections, pricing, inventory, payment gateways, and shipping settings
• Install and manage Shopify apps for marketing, SEO, reviews, and analytics
• Write and optimize product descriptions and website copy in both Korean and English
• Maintain and update the store on an ongoing basis, ensuring smooth operation and a strong customer experience

Marketing & Content

• Edit and produce YouTube video content
• Support social media and digital marketing activities as needed

Supplier & Logistics Coordination

• Communicate with Korean suppliers in Korean regarding orders, pricing, and shipping arrangements
• Prepare and manage import documentation and customs clearance for shipments from Korea to Canada
• Translate and coordinate business correspondence in both Korean and English

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Canadian Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen (Working Holiday, Student/Co-op, or closed Work Permit are not accepted)
• Fluent in BOTH English and Korean (Speaking, Reading, and Writing) to handle Canadian customs and communicate seamlessly with Korean vendors.
• Proven ability to independently design and build a Shopify store from scratch
• Experience with editing video content for YouTube and social media.
• Comfortable working independently in a hybrid setting.
