In this pivotal role, you will oversee the E-Commerce and Customer Service programs, focusing on enhancing the checkout experience as well as grocery delivery and pickup services. Your responsibilities will include ensuring safety, quality of orders, a seamless pickup experience, and productivity among team members. You will analyze key performance indicators and in-store metrics to evaluate team performance and drive improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and hold all Team Members accountable for maintaining high service standards.
  • Establish clear expectations for balancing in-store customer service with online order fulfillment.
  • Monitor customer flow both in-store and online; assign tasks to ensure all customer needs are met efficiently.
  • Stay informed about competitors and industry trends.
  • Ensure effective responses to customer inquiries, requests, and concerns.
  • Foster productive relationships with departmental leaders, store leadership, and delivery partners.
  • Create a positive workplace environment that encourages teamwork, mutual respect, and high morale.
  • Maintain safety and security standards for all Team Members.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards.
  • Develop, mentor, and motivate Team Members to sustain high performance and reduce turnover.
  • Keep workspaces, including staging areas and coolers, clean and organized.
  • Safeguard equipment and manage resources efficiently.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements proactively.
  • Communicate and exemplify Whole Foods Market core values and leadership principles consistently.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 12 months of retail experience.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday.
  • Frequent hand use including grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
  • Job requires bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
  • Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals.
  • Work in environments with temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Competence in using tools and heavy machinery like box cutters and electric pallet jacks.

The wage range for this position is $16.50-$30.20 per hour, depending on experience. Whole Foods Market offers
