Our client is seeking a visionary and results-oriented E-commerce Platform Manager to lead their online retail strategy and operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall performance, strategy, and optimization of the company's e-commerce platform(s). You will drive initiatives to enhance user experience, increase conversion rates, and expand online sales channels. Key responsibilities include managing product listings, optimizing website content for SEO, analyzing sales data and customer behavior, and implementing digital marketing campaigns. You will collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and IT teams to ensure a seamless customer journey from discovery to purchase. Experience with A/B testing, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and managing third-party e-commerce tools is essential. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of current e-commerce trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. You should be adept at strategic planning, data analysis, and cross-functional team leadership. This remote-first role requires excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities: Oversee the strategy, development, and execution of the e-commerce platform. Drive initiatives to improve website user experience and conversion rates. Manage product catalog, ensuring accurate and compelling product information. Develop and implement SEO strategies to enhance organic search visibility. Analyze sales performance, website traffic, and customer behavior data to identify trends and opportunities. Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across various channels (e.g., email, social media, paid search). Collaborate with marketing, IT, and design teams to ensure brand consistency and a seamless customer journey. Manage A/B testing and other optimization efforts to improve key e-commerce metrics. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in e-commerce. Manage relationships with third-party vendors and technology providers. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in e-commerce management, with a strong focus on platform optimization and digital strategy. Proven success in driving online sales growth and improving conversion rates. Expertise in SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media marketing. Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce). Strong analytical skills with proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization techniques. Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills. Strong understanding of digital marketing best practices and customer journey mapping. Ability to thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment.
