Social Media Manager (Junior Digital Marketing Consultant)

We are seeking a Social Media Manager (Junior Digital Marketing Consultant) to support enterprise-level social media initiatives across multiple platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram. This role sits within the Enterprise Social Media team and is responsible for creating, publishing, and optimizing organic and paid social media content while providing guidance and consultation to internal stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be both collaborative and self-directed, with strong hands-on experience managing social media campaigns end-to-end, analyzing performance metrics, and ensuring brand and regulatory compliance. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented social media professional who thrives in a fast-paced, highly visible marketing environment.
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2–3 days in office)
Contract Length: Feb 16, 2026 – Sept 18, 2026
Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Pay Rate: T4 33.5/hour IC: 39/hour
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with internal partners to develop results-driven organic and paid social media strategies aligned to business and measurement objectives.
- Manage paid social media campaigns from strategy and execution through reporting and optimization.
- Work closely with internal and external agency partners on integrated marketing campaigns.
- Provide subject-matter expertise on social-first creative, ensuring content is engaging, compliant, and aligned with best practices.
- Publish and manage content across enterprise social media channels using approved social media management tools.
- Maintain consistent brand voice and brand standards across all social media platforms.
- Educate and support stakeholders through the development of social media training and enablement materials.
- Manage logistics for live social media events, including real-time content creation and event-day coordination.
- Measure social media performance and user engagement, delivering insights and recommendations for ongoing optimization.
- Contribute to regular scorecards and reporting for social media initiatives and participate in performance discussions.
- Ensure reports, documentation, and records are properly stored and organized within enterprise repositories such as OneDrive and SharePoint.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Post-secondary degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in social media management.
- Strong understanding of online marketing and major social media platforms.
- Experience using social media management tools for publishing and reporting (e.g., Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
- Experience managing paid social advertising through platforms such as Meta Business Manager and LinkedIn Campaign Manager .
- Excellent consulting, writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused with strong multitasking abilities.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal).
NICE TO HAVE
- Bilingual (French / English).
- Experience working within a regulated or financial services environment.
- Design or creative capabilities, such as basic graphic design or video editing.
- Additional or specialized post-secondary education in marketing or digital communications.
