Responsibilities

  • Ensure outstanding customer experiences through intuitive navigation, diverse product offerings, freshness, and cleanliness in the e-Commerce department.
  • Conduct interviews and select top-tier candidates for our online shopping team.
  • Develop and manage scheduling to align with product demand while adhering to guidelines.
  • Mentor and coach team members to help them achieve and surpass efficiency and productivity standards.
  • Enforce compliance with applicable laws, food safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Provide comprehensive training on the roles of order selectors and customer attendants.
  • Lead the execution and planning of e-Commerce initiatives to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, budget constraints, and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape and formulate effective strategic responses.
  • Ensure prompt order fulfillment with requested products or suitable substitutes as necessary.
  • Implement effective strategies for product substitution during stock shortages.
  • Streamline processes related to order collection, product selection, checkout, and delivery.
  • Promptly address and report inventory issues to leadership.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and device issues within the department.
  • Communicate operational effectiveness feedback to store management and stakeholders.
  • Monitor department expenses to maintain budget compliance.
  • Oversee the maintenance and servicing of department equipment.
  • Support and supervise direct reports, conducting performance reviews and delivering constructive feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment, even under pressure.
  • Manage conflicts in a constructive and calm manner.
  • Uphold transparency regarding customer and business information.
  • Follow guidance and seek assistance when necessary to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Engage with a diverse range of individuals, including minors, those with special needs, and older adults.
  • Perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications

MINIMUM

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role.
  • Experience in hiring and selection processes.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
  • Capacity to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds multiple times daily.
  • Ability to stand for long durations and walk consistently.
  • Capability to stoop, kneel, or crouch regularly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.

DESIRED

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Familiarity and experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
