E-Commerce Operations Supervisor

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction through ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness in the e-Commerce department.
- Conduct interviews, select, and onboard candidates to build a strong online shopping team.
- Create staff schedules that meet product flow demands while staying within guidelines.
- Develop and mentor associates to meet productivity standards and certify them upon reaching goals.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including food safety procedures.
- Train associates on their roles as order selectors and customer attendants.
- Lead the implementation and execution of e-Commerce initiatives.
- Meet and surpass sales, budget, and customer satisfaction goals.
- Analyze competitive landscape and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Ensure timely fulfillment of orders with the requested products or appropriate substitutes.
- Implement best practices for managing out-of-stock items.
- Streamline order collection, product handling, checkouts, and delivery processes.
- Promptly report inventory issues to department heads.
- Troubleshoot equipment and devices utilized in the e-Commerce department.
- Provide feedback on operational effectiveness to management and division teams.
- Monitor department expenses and ensure preventative maintenance on all equipment.
- Supervise and coach direct reports, conducting performance reviews and providing constructive feedback.
- Foster a collaborative and high-paced work environment.
- Manage conflicts constructively.
- Maintain honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
- Follow instructions and seek assistance when needed to address issues.
- Support individuals with diverse needs through direct interaction.
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Proven supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience with the selection and hiring process is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills are essential.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds several times a day.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Capable of stooping, kneeling, or crouching often.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong leadership capabilities.
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree is a plus.
- Knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems is advantageous.
