Responsibilities
As the Director - Finance Transformation (IPO Readiness), your primary responsibilities will include
- Leading the finance transformation strategy and execution, focusing on the readiness for an Initial Public Offering (IPO).
- Driving the development and implementation of efficient financial systems and processes, including a comprehensive ERP implementation.
- Ensuring compliance with GAAP, Insurance Accounting, STAT, and Model Audit Rule regulations.
- Overseeing financial and IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Providing strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
- Managing the relationship with audit firms, insurance companies, and other financial institutions.
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing finance team.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Director - Finance Transformation (IPO Readiness) position should possess the following qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, with a focus on finance transformation and IPO readiness.
- Proven experience with GAAP, Insurance Accounting, STAT, ERP implementation, Model Audit Rule, Project Management, and IT projects.
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills, plus excellent organization skills.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth, and dynamic business environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex financial information in clear and concise terms.
