We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented E-Commerce Web Developer with strong expertise in Shopify to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing high-performing e-commerce websites for a diverse portfolio of clients.

While Shopify will be your primary focus, familiarity with other e-commerce platforms is highly valued.

This role is ideal for someone who combines technical expertise with strong problem-solving skills and understands the business side of online retail.

Full Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Build, customize, and launch Shopify stores (themes, apps, integrations)
• Develop custom Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Configure Shopify back-end settings including products, collections, payments, shipping, and taxes
• Integrate third-party apps, APIs, and payment gateways
• Perform data migrations from platforms such as WooCommerce, Magento, Lightspeed, etc.
• Optimize website performance, speed, and SEO best practices
• Troubleshoot bugs and provide ongoing maintenance/support
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and clients to deliver projects on time
• Ensure responsive design across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
• Implement CRO best practices to improve conversion rates

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years experience building and launching Shopify stores
• Strong proficiency in:
• Shopify (Liquid templating language)
• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
• Experience working with Shopify APIs and custom app integrations
• Understanding of e-commerce UX/UI best practices
• Experience with version control (Git)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Nice to Have

• Experience with other platforms such as:
• WooCommerce
• Magento
• BigCommerce
• Lightspeed POS or other retail POS systems
• Experience with headless commerce
• Third-Party App Integrations
• Basic knowledge of SEO and analytics tools
• Experience with ERP or POS integrations
• Shopify Plus experience
• Familiarity with Klaviyo, Recharge, or other e-commerce tools
