E-commerce Specialist

We are looking for an eCommerce Specialist will primarily work with our Frank Paxton Lumber Company and Rugby Architectural Building Products sales and branch teams as well as our customers across all locations in North America, with a primary focus on our US business. The eCommerce Specialist will provide education on our eCommerce solutions, and lead customer implementations for both web and Integration (EDI) opportunities. This role will report to the ADENTRA Group Director of eCommerce.

The pay range for this position is $75,000 - $95,000 and includes a 10% additional performance-based bonus

Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership and in-field support to the Sales organization with regards to e-commerce capabilities and opportunities to increase customer channel adoption
  • Meets with customers on a regular basis to drive eCommerce conversion and penetration within new and existing eCommerce accounts. Performs customer solutions analysis, demos, training, and assists sellers with sales calls, customer implementations, and other support as required.
  • Ensure ongoing customer and employee engagement through education on the eCommerce platform to achieve business objectives
  • Own the execution of the Paxton Lumber Company eCommerce Channel growth strategy.
  • Create and maintain eCommerce training material for sales and customers.
  • Perform customer needs analysis and solution optimization to source and qualify new Integrated (EDI, XML, Punchout, PDF conversion) opportunities.
  • Successfully train regional sellers and sales leaders to deliver website demonstrations, customer training and perform account set-up’s.
  • Assists eCommerce team with website testing of new functionality and enhancements.
  • Provide sales and customer feedback back to the eCommerce team to assist with prioritization of solution improvements and fixes.
  • Ability to work with and analyze sales reporting and web analytics.

Qualifications (Required)

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets.
  • A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, demonstrating professionalism and a strong drive for results.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Demonstrated strong presentation skills with ability to influence customers and handle objections.
  • Knowledge of transactional eCommerce best practices in either a B2B or online retail environment.
  • 2+ years successful sales experience.
  • 2+ years’ experience selling or marketing eCommerce solutions in a sales or services position.
  • Strong hands-on Internet skills and technical experience with proficient overall computer skills.
  • Proven experience demonstrating customer service skills, analyzing customer needs and developing requirements.
  • Proven project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities, react with urgency, and reprioritize as needed to meet tight time constraints.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to turn insights into actions.
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel & PowerPoint.

Additional Qualifications (Preferred)

  • Bilingual (Spanish, French) is an Asset.
  • Experience with eProcurement systems and marketplaces an asset.

Travel Requirements

  • Ability to travel overnight on an occasional basis, up to 25%.
