Work you'll do

As a Product Strategy Analyst II, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the strategic direction of Tax Transformation. This role is responsible for identifying, defining, developing, and executing key initiatives that align with Tax's and Tax Transformation's strategic priorities. The Product Strategy Analyst II will work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver a portfolio of projects. This role demands a highly strategic thinker with exceptional analytical skill and the ability to manage complex projects across multiple workstreams.

  • Project Planning: Develop project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate project activities, track progress, and support project timelines and objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Carefully manage stakeholders and their engagement effectively to ensure buy-in and support for program. Develop executive-level presentations and reports to communicate project status, risks, and outcomes.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and deliverables.
  • Performance Monitoring: Report on progress and risk/issue management and mitigation.
  • Materials Support: Develop materials to support initiatives through executive storytelling, training, reporting, and other collateral needs.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices in change management and project management.

The team

Deloitte Tax LLP's Tax Transformation Office is responsible for collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to define delivery standards and the standard process to support the delivery of Tax services, as well as the related development and deployment of technology to enable service delivery. Members of Tax Transformation elevate Deloitte Tax Professionals, in order that they may provide higher value services to Deloitte clients, through identifying opportunities to streamline delivery, increase resource fungibility, improve ROI on technology investments, increase agility, and elevate the digital client experience. The Tax Transformation Office focuses on enhancing Deloitte Tax LLP's ability to deliver value-added and efficient Tax services to our clients. Tax Transformation consists of professionals with varying backgrounds, ranging from Tax Professionals, Human Capital and Technology Consultants, and other IT professionals including Quality Assurance and Technology Support. The team consults and executes on a wide range of projects with a strong focus on process design and deployment and adoption, including stakeholder analysis, communications, learning and change management.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or information technology related field.
  • Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate 2-3 days per week.
  • 1+ years of client service experience in strategy and operations or technology consulting, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience executing project management tasks, including developing and maintaining project plans, tracking progress across project lifecycle phases, and delivering results against established timelines.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
  • One of the following active accreditations obtained, in process or willing and able to obtain:
  • Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA
  • If not CPA eligible:
  • Licensed Attorney
  • Enrolled Agent
  • Technology Certifications:
  • Program Management Professional (PgMP)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt)

Preferred

  • Digital transformation experience
  • Agile delivery and design thinking experience
  • End-to-end technology project delivery
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to support execution against a complex, multi-faceted communication and business engagement strategy, and experience in producing communications deliverables and organization-wide communications.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and support timely completion of project milestones.
  • Ability to identify issues, analyze problems, and consult with other team members and leadership to develop effective solutions.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical abilities to interpret project data/information and identify trends.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $69,930 to $159,120.
