Associate Manager, Digital Marketing
CRATE & BARRELThe Associate Manager, Digital Marketing, supports the project management, analysis, and quality assurance of digital media campaigns executed by our agency partners, with a focus on social-first digital media campaigns. This role is crucial for driving traffic, sales, and customer development for our brands (Crate & Barrel, Crate & Kids). You'll contribute to data-driven optimizations across customer types, categories, and channels while maintaining an 'always-on' testing and scaling mindset.
This is an on-site position (Monday through Thursday) based out of our Northbrook, IL office with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.
A day in the life as a Associate Manager, Digital Marketing...
- Support execution of paid social campaigns (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.) while ensuring a cohesive multi-channel experience alongside paid search, programmatic display, online video, CTV, and affiliate channels
- Assist in the implementation of social-specific strategies across all brands to increase marketing’s contribution to sales
- Monitor program budgets and pacing, and contribute to reporting and analysis.
- Support key external vendor and agency relationships to ensure effective collaboration
- Contribute to data-driven optimizations tailored to customer type, category, and channel, with a focus on increasing marketing's contribution to sales
- Develop an understanding of paid social media opportunities and challenges to become a subject matter resource within the company
- Assist in account management processes, including creative development and audience-specific strategies
- Collaborate with paid, organic media, and brand teams to align paid social tactics with promotional calendars and audience-specific strategies
- Conduct analysis and reporting to inform strategy and key decision-making.
- Partner with marketing and customer analytics teams to refine tactics and improve campaign performance within social media ad space
- Assist in the automation of repetitive daily, weekly, or monthly tasks
- Work with the Creative team on ad development, testing, and refining social-first ad formats and video content
- Partner with the media agency to improve and enhance brand visibility and campaign efficiency while leveraging new tools and automation within digital marketing space
- Sustain effective relationships with internal and external partners
What you'll bring to the table...
- Experience within the social media landscape (TikTok, Meta, Pinterest, etc.) is preferred
- Experience collaborating with vendors or third parties to meet deadlines and achieve goals
- Familiarity with broader digital media channels including search, video, affiliate, and display is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects
- Proactive and eager to learn new skills and platforms
- Solid analytical skills with a proven ability to derive insights from data
- An understanding of retail trends and customer needs
We'd love to hear from you if you have...
- 3 years of experience in Paid Social, Digital Marketing, Digital Media, eCommerce, Analytics, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, economics, finance, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent work experience
- Good project management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel is required
- Familiarity with the Google Ad Tech Stack is a plus
- Proficiency with web analytics tools (Adobe/Omniture, Google Analytics) is preferred
