Our client, a dynamic leader in the leisure and sports industry, is seeking a creative and results-driven Senior Remote Sports Marketing Strategist. This is a fully remote position that offers the opportunity to develop and execute innovative marketing campaigns for major sporting events, athletes, and brands. Responsibilities
Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies for sports properties, events, and athletes. Manage and optimize digital marketing channels, including social media, SEO/SEM, and email marketing. Create compelling content and campaigns to engage target audiences. Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with sponsors, media outlets, and influencers. Analyze marketing campaign performance data and provide actionable insights for improvement. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the sports and leisure industry. Oversee campaign budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources. Collaborate with internal teams (creative, sales, events) to ensure cohesive brand messaging. Stay abreast of the latest marketing technologies and best practices. Prepare and present campaign reports and strategic recommendations to senior management.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or a related field. An MBA or relevant Master's degree is a plus. A minimum of 6 years of experience in marketing, with a strong focus on sports marketing or brand management within the sports/leisure industry, is required. Proven experience in developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns and managing social media platforms is essential. Strong analytical skills and proficiency with marketing analytics tools are mandatory. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for creative storytelling, are crucial.
