OVERVIEW

The Corporate Social Media & Digital Marketing Intern will support the execution and optimization of Tilray Brands’ corporate social and digital communications. This role is designed as a hands‑on, execution‑focused internship that provides meaningful exposure to global brand communications, digital storytelling, and performance‑driven content operations.

responsibilities

Social Media Execution & Support

  • Support the preparation, scheduling, and publishing of approved content across Tilray’s corporate social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, X, YouTube, Threads)
  • Ensure all content adheres to Tilray Brands’ Communications and Social Media Policies, regulatory requirements, and brand standards
  • Assist with formatting captions, tagging, metadata, and platform‑specific optimizations
  • Monitor published content and flag engagement trends, audience feedback, or emerging issues for the team

Digital Asset Management & Optimization

  • Organize, tag, and maintain digital assets (photo, video, graphics) to support efficient reuse and deployment
  • Assist with resizing, formatting, and preparing assets for social and digital use
  • Support audits of existing asset libraries to identify gaps, duplication, or optimization opportunities
  • Help prepare campaign‑ready asset packages for internal stakeholders and external partners

Performance Tracking & Insights

  • Assist with collecting and organizing social media performance metrics across platforms
  • Support the creation of monthly or campaign‑based performance summaries
  • Identify patterns in content performance (formats, themes, posting cadence)
  • Contribute insights to inform future content planning and optimization

Content Enablement & Campaign Support

  • Assist in breaking down long‑form content (videos, announcements, campaigns) into platform‑specific social assets
  • Support drafting of captions, headlines, and content variants under team guidance
  • Help prepare content materials for internal communications, executive visibility, and corporate storytelling initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Required

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Journalism, or a related field
  • Strong interest in social media, digital content, and brand communications
  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with digital tools and platforms (e.g., social scheduling tools, analytics dashboards, asset libraries)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment

Preferred

  • Familiarity with corporate or brand social media channels
  • Basic understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics
  • Experience with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)
  • Interest in working within regulated industries or corporate environments

Learning & Development Opportunities
