Overview

Digital Training Facility Manager (DTFM) for Fort Snelling, MN (CONUS) – Digital Training Facility Management (DTFM031). This role supports DoD/Military training and readiness by planning, facilitating, managing, recording, and assessing training for the Training Management Directorate (TMD).

Responsibilities

  • Supports oversight of student scheduling, supervision, and training.
  • Coordinates facility maintenance and interacts with Enterprise Management System (EMS) Technicians.
  • Adheres to EMS guidance to replace monitors, desktop computers, and servers and to verify operation of hardware and software in the DTFs.
  • Maintains facility security and equipment operation; assists students in using assets provided in DTFs.
  • Monitors and reports the condition and inventory of IT hardware, desks, chairs, and other furniture at site locations.
  • Partners with other entities to create secure lab environments.
  • Performs hands-on equipment operation and on-site operations.
  • Provides metrics and reports to designated Management, Section Leadership, and Stakeholder Staff.
  • Provides server and application support and maintenance; maintains superior customer interactions on behalf of the DTF.
  • Reports the operational status of the DTF(s) to the chain of command and the Distributed Learning Point of Contact (DL-POC).
  • Schedules use of DTFs and provides hands-on assistance to the Army Training Information System (ATIS) Product Manager and EMS staff; coordinates training in DTFs with Soldiers and the DL-POC.

Experience

  • 5 years of management experience within IT support and/or IT management (Required).
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate trainees to summarize, forecast, identify requirements, screen information, determine eligibility, and propose solutions to challenges.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate, schedule training sessions, and prepare clear reports and presentations.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related).
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (This employer participates in the e-Verify program).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe products.
  • All ProSidian staff must be determined eligible for a “Facility Access Authorization” (also referred to as an “Employment Authorization”) by the USG’s designated Security Office.
  • Other employment conditions may apply.
  • Must be able to submit to and qualify for varying levels of background investigative requirements, up to a Top Secret or "Q" clearance.
