Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers for 60 miles at speeds of up to 150 mph while producing minimal noise.

We are looking for a Sr. Director Enterprise Digital Transformation to lead our strategic initiatives which encompasses work to deploy enterprise applications such as ERP, MES, CRM, RPA, and Data Analytics.. You will lead a team of professionals, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure the effective deployment of enterprise applications to optimize operational efficiency, enhance productivity, and support the achievement of organizational goals. You will lead these enterprise initiatives by partnering with cross-functional teams supporting diverse business processes such as finance, supply chain planning, order to cash, source to pay, plan to fulfill, product lifecycle management, and supplier/customer collaboration, ensuring optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
What you’ll do
- Lead a team of project managers and external partners in delivering a successful enterprise system and business intelligence initiatives and related process automations
- Build and maintain a cross-functional project plan incorporating multiple teams and interdependencies
- Lead teams to timeline, budget, and scope deliverables. Update and report on changes and other blockers impacting the project to move it forward and ensure successful delivery
- Tightly manage the project scope and raise any changes to executive steering committees to drive alignment
- Manage project risks and issues, and develop mitigation plans
- Lead regular steering committee meetings with C Suite or VP leadership across the organization to report on progress, drive decisions, remove blockers and ensure the project is delivering on its objectives
- Drive business process management initiatives following methodologies such as Six Sigma lean initiatives to streamline and remove the bottlenecks, and find opportunities for automations (RPA)
- Experience with intelligent automation and RPA technologies; experience managing and delivering large-scale projects
- Drive MDM (master data management) governance and orchestration with business stakeholders.
- Partner with engineering teams in the NPI process that includes engaging in PLM, MES, Scada and overall operations process to improve the efficiency.
- Maintain external and internal relationships to ensure objectives are met and work is delivered
- Provide mentorship or coaching to other Program and Project Managers to ensure all tracks are operating according to standards
What you need
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, aeronautical engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in business process management, project management, and data governance with at least 7 years of experience leading ERP, MES and/or Airline applications implementation projects
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience managing budgets and timelines
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience managing external consultants and vendors to support project delivery

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $235,200.00-$275,000.00. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
