E-commerce Marketing Manager - Social Media Strategy

This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within the United States and contribute to our online success from your home office. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media campaigns across various platforms to drive brand awareness, engagement, website traffic, and ultimately, sales. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of social media trends, content creation, community management, and performance analytics. You should be adept at leveraging social media to build a strong brand identity and foster customer loyalty.
Key responsibilities include
Developing and implementing a data-driven social media strategy aligned with overall e-commerce and marketing goals. Managing and growing our presence on key social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter). Creating engaging, high-quality, and platform-specific content, including visuals, videos, and copy. Planning and executing paid social media advertising campaigns, including audience targeting, budget management, and performance optimization. Monitoring social media channels for trends, customer feedback, and opportunities for engagement. Building and nurturing an active and engaged online community around our brand. Collaborating with the creative team to ensure brand consistency in all social media communications. Analyzing social media performance metrics, generating regular reports, and providing actionable insights for improvement. Staying up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, tools, and emerging platforms. Working closely with the e-commerce team to ensure seamless integration of social media efforts with website activities and promotional campaigns. Managing influencer partnerships and collaborations. Responding to customer inquiries and comments on social media in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in social media marketing, with a strong focus on e-commerce and brand building. Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns that drive engagement and conversions. Deep understanding of major social media platforms, their algorithms, and advertising capabilities. Excellent content creation skills, including copywriting, basic graphic design, and video editing. Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics). Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into strategic recommendations. Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting. Creative thinker with a passion for digital marketing and e-commerce trends.
