About Fluent in Minds

Fluent in Minds is a youth‑led nonprofit advancing mental health accessibility for non‑English‑speaking and immigrant communities. We work with educators, clinicians, and community organizations to bridge language barriers in mental health care through translation, advocacy, and institutional collaboration.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead Fluent in Minds’ marketing, brand, and external communications strategy. This role is responsible for shaping how the organization presents itself publicly and how it reaches partners, stakeholders, and communities across platforms. The CMO will play a key strategic role in supporting institutional partnerships through marketing, outreach, and positioning, while working closely with the Executive Director and leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee organization‑wide marketing and brand strategy
  • Ensure consistent messaging and visual identity across digital platforms and outreach materials
  • Lead content and growth strategy for social media, website, and external communications
  • Support outreach to schools, nonprofits, and institutions through pitch materials and partnership‑facing communications
  • Collaborate with leadership on strategic planning and organizational growth

Qualifications

  • Experience or strong interest in marketing, communications, brand strategy, or growth
  • Excellent written communication and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels
  • Interest in mental health, health equity, or social impact work
  • Comfortable working in a mission‑driven, youth‑led organization
  • Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, education, or advocacy settings is an asset
