Pinch Social is hiring a Senior Social Media Manager (Strategy) to lead client accounts through structured systems designed to influence preference, capture demand, and drive measurable growth.
This is not a content management role.
This is a strategic, client-facing position responsible for connecting social media activity to real business outcomes. You will lead accounts, shape direction, and ensure that all work contributes to a clear commercial objective.
We are looking for someone with 7+ years of experience who has owned strategy, led clients directly, and understands how social drives demand and revenue.
The Role
At Pinch Social, all client work is built around three core functions:

Your role is to lead how these functions come together across client engagements. You will ensure that strategy, creative, and performance operate as a cohesive system.
You will be responsible for translating business objectives into structured social strategies, directing execution, and maintaining accountability to results.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Client Leadership (Mandatory)
- Serve as the primary strategic lead on client accounts
- Own client relationships and act as a senior advisor
- Lead meetings, present strategy, and guide decision-making
- Translate business goals into structured social systems that drive outcomes
Strategy Ownership (Mandatory)
- Develop and own end-to-end social media strategy across organic and paid
- Build strategies that influence buying decisions, capture demand, and drive growth
- Define KPIs tied to business outcomes, not engagement metrics
- Continuously evolve strategy based on performance and market dynamics
Influence Preference
- Shape how brands are perceived within competitive markets
- Direct content, creator, and storytelling strategies that build relevance and differentiation
- Ensure all creative work is designed to shift preference, not just generate activity
Capture Demand
- Design how attention converts into action
- Collaborate on paid social, targeting, and funnel strategy
- Align content and campaigns with conversion pathways, landing pages, and offers
- Improve efficiency of customer acquisition through structured demand capture
Drive Measurable Growth
- Own performance accountability across accounts
- Analyze results and translate data into actionable insights
- Lead optimization cycles that improve conversion, cost efficiency, and return
- Clearly connect social performance to business impact in client reporting
Creative Direction and Approval
- Provide clear direction to internal teams across content and campaigns
- Review and approve work to ensure alignment with strategy and standards
- Push for work that earns attention and drives action, not just fills calendars
Team Collaboration and Leadership
- Work cross-functionally with creative, paid media, and strategy teams
- Ensure alignment across all workstreams
- Mentor junior team members and elevate overall output
What We’re Looking For
Required Experience (Mandatory)
- 7+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or agency environments
- Proven experience leading client accounts independently
- Demonstrated experience owning strategy, not just execution
- Experience connecting social media efforts to business outcomes such as leads, revenue, and conversion
Core Capabilities
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable plans
- Deep understanding of how social influences buying behavior and demand generation
- Experience across both organic and paid social environments
- Ability to interpret performance data and drive optimization
- Confident communicator with strong client-facing presence
- Strong creative judgment and understanding of what performs in-market
