Position Summary
The Director of Technology Transformation will lead the strategic modernization and optimization of ColonialWebb’s IT systems, tools, and processes to support business goals related to efficiency, scalability, and innovation. This leader will drive enterprise-wide, technology-enabled change by aligning business strategy with practical technology solutions and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with strong execution skills, a collaborative leadership style, and a passion for process improvement.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities (A Day In The Life)
Strategic Vision & Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology transformation roadmap aligned with ColonialWebb’s business strategy and growth objectives
- Partner with senior leadership across construction, service, manufacturing, industrial, and corporate services to identify, implement, and integrate technology solutions that support organizational priorities
- Establish long-term goals and measurable outcomes for digital transformation across all business units
- Champion transformation initiatives by building executive buy-in and organizational support
Technology Implementation & Execution
- Lead the successful implementation of enterprise technology programs, including ERP, CRM, project management platforms, BI/data analytics, automation, and automated intelligence tools
- Oversee the evaluation, selection, and deployment of technology platforms that improve operational reliability, scalability, and data-driven decision-making
- Ensure strong change management practices and seamless integration of technology with business processes
IT Process Improvement
- Define, assess, and optimize IT processes to improve performance, reduce technical debt, and support operational best practices
- Standardize tools, workflows, and protocols to improve system stability and user experience
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives that drive efficiency, quality, and compliance
Project & Execution Leadership
- Oversee and directly support large-scale digital transformation and technology-enabled projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget
- Serve as the leader for key transformation initiatives such as system consolidations, platform migrations, and data governance implementations
- Implement strong project governance practices to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and risk management frameworks
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of 3–5 IT transformation professionals, including project managers, solution architects, data analysts, and user support staff
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning
- Build team capability through coaching, performance management, and strategic hiring
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Learn the business and actively seek feedback on improvement opportunities to inform the transformation roadmap
- Communicate technology transformation strategy, progress, and outcomes to executive leadership and cross-functional teams
- Build consensus among stakeholders by balancing technical requirements with business priorities
- Provide regular reporting on key performance indicators and overall transformation impact
- Engage with sister companies and industry peers to identify solutions, best practices, and opportunities
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience in IT leadership, technology transformation, or digital strategy roles
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional technology projects and process improvement initiatives at scale

- Strong strategic thinking skills with solid business and technology acumen
- Excellent project and portfolio management capabilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams
- Experience with ERP, CRM, data analytics, automation, and other enterprise systems
- Ability to align technology initiatives with business priorities and operational goals
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience leading enterprise transformation initiatives in construction, service, manufacturing, industrial, or similarly complex operational environments
- Familiarity with change management frameworks, data governance initiatives, and system integration strategies
