Nature and Scope: The Digital Marketing Specialist plays a key role in supporting the Marketing Department, which initiates and executes the company’s corporate and product-focused external communications. The role is Remote

  • US and sits within the commercial business unit, collaborating cross-functionally with Regulatory Affairs, Medical (ARMD), Legal and Marketing and a proactive, service-oriented mindset.

You will be expected to help develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies that align with business objectives. That work includes website content management, online visibility and brand awareness efforts, plus increasing social media presence. The ideal candidate is highly creative, detail-oriented, and organized, thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment, and has hands-on experience developing, executing and optimizing digital marketing initiatives such as advertising campaigns, digital media, product and corporate website management, social media and analytics reporting.

Day-to-day activities include assisting with website development, refreshes, and ongoing maintenance so content, design, functionality, and user experience remain current, engaging, and aligned with brand standards. You will create engaging, relevant content and ideate new digital tactics to support corporate and product marketing initiatives, manage SEO/SEM efforts including keyword research, on-page optimization, and monitoring search rankings, and work with agency consultants to set up and optimize Google Ads and other pay-per-click (PPC) programs. Expect to analyze and interpret data from website analytics, social media metrics, and email campaign statistics to measure performance and optimize strategies, and to develop and grow the company’s social media presence by creating engaging content and strengthening brand recognition. Support of special projects and departmental initiatives will also be part of the role.

Education and experience requirements are explicit: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field required. Minimum of 3 years of digital marketing experience in pharmaceutical marketing required; experience with injectables or generic pharmaceuticals strongly preferred. Familiarity with regulatory and compliance guidelines governing pharmaceutical and medical device promotion (e.g., PMR review processes) is expected.

Technical skills and tools called for include

  • Proficiency in SEO/SEM, email marketing platforms, social media management tools, and analytic platforms (preferably Google Analytics (GA4)).
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS), customer relationship management (CRM), and marketing automation tools.
  • A basic understanding of HTML, CSS preferred.
  • Mastery of Microsoft 365.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience in the use of Veeva Vault Promo. Mats for content management and approval workflows.

Creative and professional skills: Strong copywriting and basic graphic design skills to support digital content creation, strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations, excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and professionally. You should also bring strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, business savvy with a strong attention to detail and accuracy, a proactive, solutions-oriented approach, and the ability to adapt to fast-changing digital trends and collaborate effectively across teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and integrated marketing execution.

Expected Salary Range: $56,000-66,000. Actual compensation for the role will be based on a number of different factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, education, knowledge, skills and experience.
