Digital Media Specialist - Boston, MA

We are currently seeking candidates for a Digital Media Specialist position with a top‑tier investment management firm located in Boston, MA. The Digital Media Specialist will be responsible for digital publishing, content management, and web development efforts and will support the firm’s global marketing and distribution goals and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 3–4+ years of hands‑on digital media, content management, or content publishing experience ideally within financial services.

Contract Details: 12‑month contract, pay $33–$36 per hour (depending on experience). Hybrid work model: onsite 3 days and remote 2 days.

Responsibilities

Support publishing quality standards and ensure consistent and timely dissemination of content to internal and external environments.

Perform technical data checks and verify that all publishing efforts adhere to defined quality controls and procedures.

Navigate all web development and maintenance efforts across the company’s global websites.

Participate in site maintenance and troubleshooting, including general updates.

Proactively investigate and troubleshoot content and platform‑related issues and coordinate necessary actions for timely resolution.

Develop procedural documentation and deliver training on daily responsibilities from authoring to publishing and web development.

Utilize Workfront and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

Collaborate on projects, adding value to efforts from content creation to agile development items.

Proactively support and drive global marketing and distribution strategies and initiatives.

Qualifications

BS/BA degree in a relevant field.

3–4+ years of hands‑on digital media, content management, or content publishing experience ideally within financial services.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational, prioritization, and time‑management skills.

Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as efficiently independently.

Great technical skills (MS Office Suite, Workfront, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)).

Previous experience working with automated project‑management workflow systems (Workfront and/or Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) preferred).
