Varada Consulting is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable intern to support both our Marketing and Business Development teams. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in content creation, communications, and operational support at a fast-moving defense tech company.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Support

Upload blog and news content to our website via WordPress
Assist with basic graphic design using Canva
Draft and schedule social media posts
Help maintain and update the content calendar
QA and organize email nurture sequences in Mailchimp or HubSpot
Manage marketing files, images, and decks in SharePoint
Attend weekly check-ins with the Marketing Director
Track demo and event submission opportunities

Business Development Support

Organize and move files within SharePoint folders
Format and maintain the proposal content library
Apply naming conventions and clean up outdated materials
Provide general administrative support to the BD team as needed

What We’re Looking For

Strong writing and communication skills
Familiarity with Canva, WordPress, or basic email platforms (Adobe Illustrator is a plus)
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Highly organized and comfortable managing shared calendars and documents
Interest in national security, defense, or government innovation is a bonus
Proactive, curious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
