POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Paid Social Media Manager to lead the strategy and execution of our paid social advertising efforts. This role is designed for a performance-focused marketer with deep experience managing social campaigns across platforms, who can confidently adapt their approach based on client needs, whether executing focused, channel-specific campaigns or contributing paid social expertise within broader, multi-channel strategies.

This role will oversee a diverse portfolio of accounts, ranging from smaller engagements focused exclusively on paid social execution to larger, more complex clients requiring close collaboration with creative and paid media teams. As a fully in-house agency, this position plays a critical role in ensuring paid social strategies are thoughtful, scalable, and aligned with overall client objectives. The Paid Social Media Manager will take full ownership of assigned accounts, serve as the primary authority on social advertising, and work closely with leadership to drive performance, consistency, and long-term client success.

Preferred candidates will bring strong judgment, adaptability in evolving platform environments, and the ability to operate with autonomy while communicating clearly with both clients and internal leadership.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Campaign Strategy & Execution

  • Own end-to-end paid social strategy and execution for assigned clients across platforms including Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Pinterest
  • Develop and manage full-funnel strategies spanning awareness, consideration, and conversion for both lead generation and eCommerce clients
  • Manage and optimize monthly budgets exceeding $100k, ensuring efficient spend and performance against KPIs
  • Oversee conversion tracking, campaign setup, structure, testing frameworks, scaling strategies, and ongoing optimization
  • Implement and optimize landing page, lead form, and conversion strategies to improve overall funnel performance
  • Monitor budgets, goals and KPIs and collaborate with other departments in ensuring those goals and KPIs are met.
  • Incorporate full funnel strategies into paid social campaigns such as email, SMS or drip campaigns ensuring alignment across channels
  • Understand and leverage how PPC and SEO support and integrate with paid social efforts

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Work closely with Tandem leadership to align paid social strategies with broader business and client objectives
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to junior paid media team members
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, SEO, PPC, and email marketing teams to deliver cohesive strategies
  • Partner with the creative team to develop clear, performance-driven creative briefs
  • Help improve internal processes, documentation, and best practices within the paid media department
  • Conduct account audits and provide strategic feedback for new business opportunities in collaboration with leadership

Client Management

  • Serve as the primary paid social expert for assigned clients
  • Lead client calls, strategy presentations, and performance reviews
  • Translate complex performance data into clear insights and actionable recommendations for clients
  • Proactively identify growth opportunities and optimizations aligned with client goals
  • Build strong, trusted client relationships through clear communication and consistent results
  • Ability to make informed decisions and clearly articulate their impact to clients and stakeholders including expectations, guardrails, and performance shifts
  • Demonstrated ownership mindset over outcomes, not just execution.

Analytics, Tracking & Attribution

  • Own conversion tracking implementation and troubleshooting across platforms
  • Set up and manage pixels, events, APIs (including CAPI), and lead tracking systems
  • Ensure accurate tracking of user journeys through CRMs and lead funnels
  • Work confidently with CRM platforms to support lead management, attribution, and reporting
  • Analyze performance data to inform optimization decisions and strategic direction

Innovation & Optimization

  • Stay up to date on platform changes, beta opportunities, and emerging paid social trends
  • Test new formats, creatives, audiences, and bidding strategies to continuously improve performance
  • Apply conversion rate optimization best practices across ads, landing pages, and lead forms

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience managing paid social media campaigns
  • Proven experience managing both lead generation and eCommerce accounts
  • Experience managing $100k+/month ad budgets across paid social platforms
  • Advanced experience with Meta Ads and TikTok Ads
  • Working knowledge of LinkedIn Ads and Pinterest Ads
  • Strong understanding of conversion tracking, attribution, and CRM integrations
  • Experience collaborating closely with creative teams on ad concepts and copy strategy
  • Deep understanding of full-funnel marketing and how paid social integrates with email, PPC, and SEO
  • Experience with landing page and lead form strategy and optimization
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into insights and action
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort leading client-facing conversations
  • Passion for social media advertising and performance marketing
  • Experience working in an agency environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using advanced reporting, attribution, and optimization platforms such as Triple Whale, Madgicx, or comparable paid social analytics tools
  • Familiarity with multiple CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, GoHighLevel, etc.)
  • Familiarity with privacy changes, attribution limitations, and first-party data strategies within paid social
  • Experience with brand, influencer, and/or UGC campaign management
  • Background in or hands-on experience with organic social media strategies
  • Experience with creative platforms such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Frame.io, ECT
  • Familiarity with project management and communication software such as Asana, ClickUp, or Monday

Salary: Negotiable based on experience and skill level

This position is a FULL-TIME IN OFFICE role at our Downtown Fort Lauderdale location.
