Social Media Coordinator

Hobbytown is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to oversee our social media presence and develop and implement social media strategies that align with our overall marketing goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices, as well as experience creating and managing engaging and fun content.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement social media strategies for all company social media platforms
• Create and manage engaging social media content, including text, images, and videos, that promote the retail store's brand and products
• Schedule and publish social media posts
• Monitor and respond to social media comments and messages from customers
• Analyze social media engagement data and report on performance to management
• Stay up to date on the latest social media trends and best practices
• Collaborate with other marketing team members to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns
• Promote the retail store's products and services through social media contests and giveaways
• Monitor social media for mentions of the retail store and respond to customer feedback
• Potential for listing and managing online Marketplace closeout sales

• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Fun and exciting personality

Additional Information

This is a part-time to full-time position located in Lincoln, NE. Most of the work will be in our store at 70th & Pioneers but you will have the opportunity to also finish your tasks at home.
