Associate Content Marketing Manager
Golf Genius
Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 annually DOE
Position Overview
Golf Genius is seeking an organized and creative Content Marketing professional to join our growing global marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, youll be the engine that produces new content like industry and customer stories, videos and blogs for all of our marketing channels. Youll create and transform rawmarketing assets like long-form video, interviews, and case studies into engaging, multi-channel contentthat informs, inspires and educates our B2B and B2C audiences.
This role is ideal for a strong writer and detail-oriented content creator who understands the full content lifecycle and thrives on making the most out of every asset. Youll collaborate across teams to create new content and repurpose and optimize existing material for maximum reach and impact. Youll help tell the Golf Genius story in ways that resonate across platforms and personas, from crafting blog posts and customer stories, to building case studies about league management, golf shop operations, and coaching practices to slicing up seminars and webinars for social, digital channels and sales materials.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Writing & Content Development
- Write compelling blog posts, thought leadership pieces, and short-form articles based onindustry practice, internal interviews, customer conversations, and product launches.
- Draft case studies and short stories highlighting best practices in golf league and event management, retail golf shop operations, and golf coaching & instruction.
- Support SEO & AEO initiatives by integrating keyword strategies into written content.
Content Repurposing & Optimization
- Edit long-form video content (e.g., webinars, customer interviews) into short-form clipsoptimized for social media, golfgenius.com, email, YouTube, etc.
- Convert transcripts and video/audio content into blog articles, highlight reels, quote graphics,and email snippets.
- Create a systematic workflow for content slicing and asset tagging to support always-oncampaigns and evergreen content reuse.
Content Calendar Management
- Maintain and update a strategic content calendar and track publication schedules across allchannels.
- Coordinate with product marketing activities, communications, creative, and social teams toensure timely, impactful and consistent content distribution.
Collaboration & Support
- Produce customer, partner and industry influencer interviews to generate multichannel content.
- Partner with sales and customer success to identify story opportunities from high-performingcustomers or product use cases.
- Work with the global marketing team to identify high-impact soundbites and clips from recorded webinars, demos, and customer testimonials.
- Collaborate with social media and email marketers to tailor content formats for each channel.
- Tailor content for varying cultures, countries and languages, collaborating with local teams to ensure messaging aligns with market needs.
Measurement & Improvement
- Track performance metrics of published content (engagement, traffic, conversions) and identifyopportunities for improvement or re-use.
- Monitor trends in golf, software marketing, and content distribution to keep Golf Geniuscontent fresh, meaningful, findable and competitive.
Other projects as assigned by Management.
Qualifications
- 4-5 years of experience in in content marketing, digital marketing, journalism, communications,video production or a related field.
- A degree in marketing, communications or related field.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to write in different voices fordifferent audiences (especially B2B and B2C).
- Video production experience and a working understanding of video editing tools (AdobePremiere, Firefly and Express).
- Experience repurposing long-form content into multiple formats (social, email, blog, video clips,etc.).
- Comfortable using content management systems (HubSpot), project management tools (Wrike),Digital Asset Management platforms (Bynder or Canto) and Google Workspace.
- Understanding of SEO and AEO principles and how they apply to blog and website content.
- Knowledge of the golf industry or experience working in a golf, sports, or SaaS-related business.
- Self-starter who is entrepreneurial, detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to managemultiple projects at once.
