ROLE OVERVIEW
CTC EdTech LLC is seeking a Digital Marketing & Content Intern who is passionate about content creation, visual communication, social media management, and marketing strategy.
This is a hands-on, real-world internship where you will work closely with the founder and core team on live marketing initiatives, brand communication, social media platforms, and client-facing content. This role is ideal for candidates looking to build a strong digital marketing and content portfolio while gaining startup and consulting exposure.
This is a volunteer (unpaid) internship focused on skill development, real project experience, and professional growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Create digital marketing content including social media posts, posters, flyers, banners, and promotional creatives
Plan, draft, and manage content calendars across multiple social media platforms
Maintain and actively manage company social media channels, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook
Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders regarding marketing requirements, updates, and feedback
Support marketing strategy development for brand growth, outreach, and engagement
Assist with campaign planning, execution, and performance tracking
Ensure brand consistency across all marketing and communication materials
Create content aligned with university, student, and institutional audiences
Use AI tools to assist with content ideation, copy optimization, captions, and creative variations
Coordinate with design, web, and operations teams to ensure aligned messaging
Monitor engagement metrics and suggest improvements to content and marketing strategy
Support email marketing, announcements, and outreach campaigns as needed
Maintain organized marketing assets and documentation
REQUIRED TOOLS AND SKILLS
Social media platforms: LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook (required); X/Twitter or YouTube (preferred)
Design tools: Canva (required); Adobe Creative Suite or Figma (preferred)
Content and marketing tools: Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), social media scheduling tools
AI tools: ChatGPT or similar AI tools for content creation and optimization
Strong written and visual communication skills
Basic understanding of digital marketing, branding, and audience targeting
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently
Professional communication skills for client and internal collaboration
ELIGIBILITY AND REQUIREMENTS
This opportunity is open to candidates who meet all of the following criteria:
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate or master’s program
Background or interest in digital marketing, content creation, branding, or communications
Authorized to participate under CPT or OPT, if applicable
For OPT candidates, a minimum of eight months of valid work authorization remaining
Comfortable working in a remote startup environment
Based in or associated with the San Francisco Bay Area (preferred)
Able to commit at least 20 hours per week
Strong initiative, accountability, and execution mindset
